About digital communication in the Rent Disputes Tribunal
Efficient and safe communication
The Rent Disputes Tribunal has digital case processing. This means that we send our letters digitally to you when you have a case here. It also means that you can fill out the complaint- or reply form digitally. This is both efficient and safe.

How do you receive our letters?
Private individual
As a private individual you will receive our letters in your digital mail box.
If you have not activated your digital mail box, Digipost or e-Boks, you will receive our letters through the ordinary mail. Letters sent through ordinary mail leads to a longer case processing time.

As a private individual you have to check the notification settings in your digital mail box. Make sure that you receive notifications through e-mail and/or SMS when you receive a letter from us.
Make sure that your e-mail notifications do not go to your spam folder.
If your digital mail box has not been in use the last 14 months, it may be inactive.
Company
If you are acting on behalf of a private company, you will receive our letters digitally in Altinn.

If you are acting on behalf of a public entity, you will receive our letters digitally in your own processing system, or in Altinn.

How do you send information to us?
If you are sending in a complaint to the Rent Disputes Tribunal, you can fill out or digital complaint form.

Submit additional informationThe Rent Disputes Tribunal cannot receive letters from you through Digipost or e-boks.
