The contract cannot be terminated through ordinary termination
If you cannot terminate the tenancy agreement through ordinary termination, but still need to move out, you can find information about other possible alternatives below.
Contact the opposing part
Sometimes the landlord and tenant can agree to end the tenancy agreement at an earlier time. You should therefor consider contacting the other part to hear if this is possible.
Sub-letting
If you are a tenant who has entered into a time specified tenancy agreement you cannot terminate, you can rent out the residence to someone else for the remainder of the tenancy, with approval from the landlord. This is called sub-letting.

In some circumstances you have as either landlord or tenant a right to immediately end the contract, meaning you can terminate the contract with immediate effect. This is an extraordinary way to terminate the tenancy. For you to be able to terminate the contract with immediate effect it must have been committed serious breaches of contract by the other party.
